Internal use:
Vitamin-B: This is one of the best Vitamins that help with hair growth. Vitamin B is found in: Eggs, Meat, Papayas, Oranges, Beans, Poultry.
Vitamin-D: This vitamin stimulates the hair follicle and cells so that they form new hair shafts. Vitamin D is found in Fish, Oysters, Cod liver oil, Soya milk, Eggs, Mushroom, Fortified dairy products
Vitamin-C: It is essential for hair growth. It also promotes the production of collagen, which is essential for maintaining the structure of your hair and repairing the damage. Vitamin C is found in Guavas, Spinach, Dark green leafy vegetables, Yellow bell peppers, Broccoli, Kiwi, Oranges, Sweet limes, Lemons, Peas, Papaya.
Vitamin-E: It stimulates capillaries, and this improves blood circulation on the scalp. This further aid hair growth because of its rich antioxidant content and anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin E is found in: Spinach, Tofu, Avocado.
Vitamin- B5: Also known as pro-Vitamin B5 or Panthenol (mostly found in nature as D-Panthenol), this is an important ingredient of hair fall control medicines. Foods rich in Vitamin B5 are Mushrooms, Cheese, Oily fish, Eggs, Avocados, Beef, Poultry, Sunflower seeds, Sweet potatoes, Lean pork.
External use:
Onion: Chop onion and squeeze out its juice. Apply on scalp keep it for half an hour and rinse off with shampoo.
Hibiscus flower: Crush few hibiscus flowers. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and curd. Apply on scalp keep it for hour and rinse off with herbal shampoo.
Flax seed: You can also simply take flax seed oil and apply it onto your hair. When used as hair oil, flaxseed oil can help prevent hair loss as well as strengthen your hair.
Olive oil: Mix olive oil with cinnamon powder and apply on scalp. It makes hair stronger and stops hair fall.
Green Tea: Boil Green Tea and spray it on your scalp. Keep till it dries and rinse off with water. You can also use Coffee or Black Tea for the same purpose.
Coconut Milk: You can make fresh coconut milk at home by adding a freshly grated coconut to a pan of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Then strain it. Once cool, apply the milk thoroughly onto the scalp and into your hair. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then shampoo your hair.
Potatoes: Wash the potato and peel its skin. Cut it into small pieces and make its puree. Strain the puree into a bowl. To the juice, add a teaspoon each of honey and water. Mix well. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair, and leave it on for about 30 minutes.
