- Take a diet rich in Iron and Vitamin-C.
- Foods rich in Iron will improve your hemoglobin content and reduce your dark circles. Dried beans, Dry fruits, Eggs (especially egg yolks), Iron-fortified cereals and Whole grains are rich in Iron.
- Vitamin-C aids the absorption of Iron in the body. Citrus fruits, Tomatoes, Peppers, Melon, Guava and Spinach contains good amount of Vitamin-C.
- Sleep at least 7 and 8 hours every night to get rid of dark circles permanently.
- Exercise regularly: Performing yoga poses, deep breathing techniques and other stress relieving exercise will help improve blood circulation and remove dark circles under the eyes.
- Try to ease your stress.
- Washing the eyes first with warm water followed with cold water will help improve blood circulation and cleanse dirt particles around the eyes.
- Avoid excessive exposure of UV rays.

Honey: Mix honey with 3 to 4 drops of lemon juice and apply thin layer in under eye area.
Milk: Take the cotton ball and dip it in the bowl of cold milk. Now, place the cotton ball on your eyes, making sure it covers the affected area completely. Keep it for about 15 minutes, then wash out with regular water.
Sweet Almond Oil: Apply a little amount of Almond oil on your dark circles and gently massage it into the skin. Leave it on overnight and wash it off the next morning.
Crushed Mint Leaves: Crush mint leaves and mix them with a few drops of water and also add few drops of lemon juice till you get a smooth paste. Apply this paste under your eyes and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Wash with cold water.
Kumkumadi Tailam: Take a few drops of the oil on your fingertips and massage the under-eye area with it. Leave it on for a few hours. Kumkumadi Tailam also makes your skin glowing and healthy..
Petroleum Jelly: Mix Petroleum jelly and Almond oil, and apply this mixture on the under-eye area. Leave it on for an hour and then clean using a soft facial tissue. Rinse with cool water.
Turmeric: Mix Turmeric with Almond oil. Massage the under-eye area with this mixture for a minute and then leave it on for 20 minutes. You can rinse with water or use a soft tissue to wipe it off.
