Habitat: This is a climbing plant found in the Himalayas up to 8000feet and hill stations in India.
Useful in: Traditional therapeutic use of the roots of plant has been mainly in skin disorders. It has been found effective in dermatological infections & also effective in scabies & in infections with Tinea pedis.
Varnyaropan (heals the wound), kushthaghan (helpful in skin diseases), rakta shodhak (purifies blood), deepan (increases appetite)
